Katie Waissel gives Shayne Warde advice

Katie Waissel gives Shayne Warde advice

Fountain of knowledge and wisdom Katie Waissel (the one with the saucy gran) has insisted that Shayne Ward shouldn't give up on his music career just yet after being dropped by Simon Cowell. Hang on, who died and left Katie in charge? Guess we’ll listen to what she has to say anyway…

Optimistic Katie told Metro: "It is a shame for anybody to be dropped. It's hurtful but he shouldn't look at it as the end of his journey. Maybe it's just the beginning. Maybe now is a turning point for him to focus on what he wants to do and to do it his own way." She added: "It is frustrating but unfortunately that's the way the music industry works and it's horrible. If I was to see him now I'd say 'Sod it, rock out and do what you want to do. Use it to your advantage'."

You know, we hear there may be a spare seat on the X Factor panel this year, maybe Katie could be just the one to fill it?

Now how about a look at Katie’s god awful YouTube reality TV series that she made before she was on X Factor. The show followed Katie’s attempt to ‘break America’ in which she also found the time to seduce the executive producer, and their jaunts even feature in the final few episodes.

Shayne Ward lets us know he is okay after being dumped by Simon Cowell

Shayne Ward reassured his fans he was OK earlier today after becoming the fourth Casualty of Simon Cowell's record label Syco.

Shayne, who was the X Factor winner in season two, seemed optimistic about being dropped by the music mogul, tweeting "To all my Fans, I am great!

"1 door closed, A thousand more will open :-) X" he also seemed to be understanding of the labels decision, adding "Remember Business is business"

The 26 year old who was with the label for 5 years had six top 20 singles and three top 20 albums but failed to impress with the chart position of his latest single "Gotta be somebody".

A spokesperson at the record label confirmed the news by telling the Sun that the singers contract had come to an end "after five very successful years".

Girls win when it comes to the X Factor

The female winners of the show Leona Lewis and Alexandra Burke's careers are on the up things have not gone so well for the boys.

Matt Cardle must be biting his nails, he is the only male X Factor winner still signed to Syco Music.
